The Outfoxies is a fighting game developed and published by Namco for Japanese arcades in 1995. It is a one-on-one fighting game set on large stages that change dynamically over the course of a battle. Players must use weapons to attack the other player while also avoiding the dangers and havoc brought on by various stage gimmicks. Although the game did not attract much interest at release, it has gained recognition in retrospect for the variety and dynamic elements in its game design, and for its outlandish and bizarre action themes. Small Arms is a hybrid platform, fighting and shoot em up video game, featuring anthropomorphic animals and super-deformed people, with ranged weapons. Similar to Geometry Wars, the player controls character movement with the left analog stick, and aims weapons with the right analog stick, which allows 360-degree aiming. Each weapon has primary and secondary modes, which the player can use with the right and left triggers, respectively. The player can also make characters jump or dash with the face buttons.
Superfighters Deluxe is an action game that combines brawling, shooting and platforming in dynamic sandbox levels. Lots of weapons and gameplay systems interlock to create action-movie-like chaos.
